Mountains made out of water

No, not icebergs… Just waves that looks like mountains. And cool… like.. icebergs (sorry).

SURFACE – SØREN SOLKÆR

Check out the Surface photo project by Søren Solkær. It documents some of the most important street artist from the last 40 years along with their art.

And here is a longer one about the 6 street art pieces that were created specifically for the Copenhagen show.

Check out more photographs here.

Show is on in Copenhagen right now.

This guy (Kevin Weir) has made some very cool gifs out of old black and white photographs.

I am a sucker for photography, things that are black and white, and New York. So this photo project is everything I could have hoped for.

Michael Massaia shot these in Central Park between 2 and 6 am using black and white film image capture.

Bonus info: I believe the third picture is also a location used in Home Alone 2.

Central Park at night

I gotta say I’m a big fan of Google Streetview. Especially when they do things like mapping a small deserted island. It’s that Japanese one that was the worlds most densely populated area, but now is the loneliest place on earth (-ish). Bonus info: it was used in Skyfall. Very cool project.

What a fun project! Some dude has used a microwave to develop pictures and thus mimic the proces of the now “lost” polaroid technology.
