Instagram has released an app that lets users create time lapse videos. It’s really well-made, but I agree with FastCo – it should have been integrated in the Instagram app.

Stay at IKEA with Airbnb
Fun co-promotion idea! There are so many brands who should do this. It’s a great way to show your products and/or services – while making money!

Axe Monday (and Wednesday)
It’d be fantastic if the Axe deos were as great as their ads – ‘cos the ads are pretty epic. These spots are filled with techniques and action, nice art direction and copy, plus a great speaker.

The 2014 Gartner Hype Cycle
Real-time face tracking and projection mapping
Everyone is posting this, but I don’t care. It looks good and maybe you only follow my blog (not true for anyone in the world…).
Anyway, this execution from Omote is really taking it to the next level, and it would look really awesome at a fashion show or something like that.

Brilliant complain form
This is such a great way to deal with the tons of feedback (i.e. complaints and rage) that you’ll get from a top 100 list (or any other number).

MINI TVCs
I’m a big fan of MINI. Both the car and the advertising. I think I’m a big fan of these TVC’s as well. They have a very British feel and are really low packed with action, which may be right or wrong. It may not highlight the fun car experience, but I guess the Countryman is a bit different from the the smaller ones like Cooper S.

Levi’s maxes out the hipster scale
This has got to be the most hipster thing ever. It’s of course not, but it is over the top hipster. It fits well with the brand and it makes sense – but for someone working in advertising it just seems like they took it too far. But hey, if I worked with Levi’s, I might have made the same concept.
Judge for yourself.

Tesla (student work)
These are some clean and simple ads – with a good idea. Well done Brown & Taylor!
(H/T Ads of the world)
I know, it’s old (at least 3 weeks..). Anyway, I’ve been thinking about it a lot. And at first I thought it was a little “done before”. But I keep thinking about it and wishing I’d made it. The concept is simple and I like that the dad isn’t goofy, but just a cool dad.
